Peter Abande is a lawyer and governance expert with more than 10 years’ experience in the financial corporate world. He has served as a trustee and board member of a pension scheme, and secretary of Investment Co-operatives Society.

Peter is also a gender advocate and likes to be identified as a dependable community mobilizer. In 2002 he founded Theatre for Development (TFD) to mobilize communities in Western Kenya in achieving a just society – safe for women and children.

In the spirit of volunteerism, he founded Youth Action Kenya, an organization that supports youth in Kajiado County to advance economic, political and social agendas.

Peter holds a Master’s in Business Administration, Higher Diploma in International Business, Diploma in Corporate Governance and Certificate in Trustees Development Programme.
